A Christmas Carol Opening Weekend

This weekend was the opening of A Christmas Carol! One of my best friends, Andrea was able to come and visit me this weekend. It was a very nostalgic moment when we walked into the theatre and the song White Christmas was playing. Andrea and I met during that show (my first ever theatre show, pictured below) almost 10 years ago!

The weekend was wonderful. Andrea and I went to dinner at The Pharmacy, home of my favorite burger in the entire world (The Mission City burger). We then went and stopped by the Candle Bar before watching the show, where we had front and center seats! The show was great and the audience seemed to really enjoy it! I continue to be impressed by the versatility of the actors in the show. Afterwards, we went to the afterparty at Ellington’s and enjoyed our time with fellow Rep/TPAC staff and the kind staff at Ellington’s! We ended the weekend in downtown Franklin with a phenomenal brunch at Biscuit Love.

For each opening night I’ve been able to go to so far this season, I’ve had a friend able to join me. Each night, I’m reminded of the great support system that I have. Especially following Thanksgiving, I’m just grateful for the friends I have who love and support me and are willing to travel down to Nashville to spend time here with me.
