So far in the new year...

The start of the new year has been a busy one! I am blessed to have quite a few projects in the works. Here’s a bit of what’s going on.

I am directing the premier production of Strumento by Claudia Barnett. The process has been fantastic so far! My cast is lovely and we are creating some really beautiful moments in the show. We had a chance to sit down with Claudia last week and talk with her, which was a really neat experience for me!

I have been hired to costume design The Laramie Project at Harpeth Hall! This is a pretty daunting project, as there is a lot going on in the show. I am so thankful for all the support and kindness I have already received! I’m so looking forward to working with the students and helping to tell this important story.

At the end of February, I will be attending SETC with my best friend! I am so excited to get to participate in the Ready to Direct competition at the conference. I will also be participating in the theatre job fair and, one of my favorite things, attending all the workshops I can!

With Nashville Rep, I am working on A Streetcar Named Desire. I love Tennessee Williams and am so excited to see this show come to life! Especially after the look in this week, I can’t wait to see the whole show come together!

I am so thankful for the support I have and the opportunities that keep coming up in Nashville. I can’t wait to see what else the year has in store :)
