It’s a Wonderful Life : A Live Radio Play

Costume Designer

Growing up, It’s a Wonderful Life, along with the spectacular Jingle All the Way, were two Christmas traditions for my family to watch each holiday season. As a youth, I remember the movie making me a little sad each time I watched it. It still does now, though to a lesser extent, and now I am able to find more nuance and beauty in the story. This was one thing that I really enjoyed about working on this particular version of the story - the radio play allows space for the movie version to exist in my mind, while taking advantage of the magic and drama of live theatre.

This was also my first production with Studio Tenn, and it was an absolute pleasure. The entire creative team was so passionate and excited about the work being done, and it is an honor to work with such colleagues.
