Strumento

By Claudia Barnett

Strumento was my first fully staged show after moving to Nashville. This premier was presented as a part of a one act festival. As a premier, we were lucky enough to get to talk to the author, the lovely Claudia Barnett, and discuss the show with her. Having her sit in on a rehearsal was quite nerve-racking for me, but the conversation we had was invaluable. Brooke and Caroline were amazing - I looked forward to every Monday night rehearsing with them. The show was written as an interview, based on a historical source, and was initially very intimidating to me. Brooke and Caroline were able to bring life and drama to this piece in such a lovely way.

Cast: Brooke Maroldi (Eusapia Palladino), Caroline Humphrey (Lina)
Director: Lauren Terry
Playwright: Claudia Barnett

This piece was presented as a premier production in the One Act Festival presented by Act One.
